New Year Announcement

Monday, December 31st, 2012

newyear

Hi everyone!

I haven’t been updating regularly for awhile, but with good reason. I’m working hard on putting together an exhibition of the work I’ve done for this blog from the last three years.

It will be up somwhere around the end of January at the Alfred gallery in Tel-Aviv

It’s amazing that I did this for so long, the first post was published on January 16th 2010!

More than 500 posts later, I can’t even start to describe what working on this project did for me personally and artistically, it’s pretty amazing.

This isn’t the end of the blog, but maybe the start of the end (which will definitely be the start of something else).

Anyway… I feel like this needs some kind of summary before and if I continue on, and that’s what my show is for. Also it will be an opportunity to hopefully meet some of you who’ve been kind enough to be interested in what I do and the stupid things I say.

I’m gonna post an official invitation as soon as I have it.

Other than that: HAPPY NEW YEAR and all. I wish you a beautiful new year and the ability to see all that beauty.

Keren Gross – Complete Project

Monday, December 10th, 2012

Finally finished the ten illustrations series I did for fashion designer Keren Gross.
It turned out to be a complex process, but whenever I felt frustration or difficulty,
I mentally pinched myself to remind that I actually have the best job in the world :)

Here are a few images from the series, you can view the complete set on Keren’s website.

Mossy Green

Monday, December 3rd, 2012

This drawing is part of a series I’m working on for Israeli Fashion designer Keren Gross.

This one, actually, is not going to be used, but I really like the texture going on the pants there. It reminds me of wool and wood and fluffy growing things.

Back to Normal (not really)

Monday, November 26th, 2012

Since we last met another war has ended.

I’m so sick of it already, especially with the way we all so easily pick up our lives and continue on like nothing has happened. We’re such good obedient soldiers, eh, citizens.

This building is on Ben-Gurion boulevard, where I practice yoga. This is a safe haven.

Peace Please

Safe Inside

Safe inside the house, infront of the TV set, not looking, just listening, drawing pillows.
