Seventeen Seconds

August 11th, 2010

Time slips away

And the light begins to fade

And everything is quiet now

Feeling is gone

And the picture disappears

And everything is cold now

The dream had to end

The wish never came true

And the girl

Starts to sing

Seventeen seconds

A measure of life

(Seventeen Seconds by The Cure) Such a great example of 80′s moodiness and beauty ↓

It’s really so sad. And the drawing beautiful. I use sometimes my child album as a basis for drawings, and alway come many memories while I paint.

Family albums are great bases for drawings. They bring up a lot of interesting issues in you, and as a bonus most of the time they have this great nostalgic beauty.
